Early British industrial architecture, particularly bridge design gave rise to the idea for Kiri. The challenge was to use cast metal joining angled wooden beams and creating forms that would be difficult with wood alone.
Solid oak table tops use brass inlay shapes that echo the legs and rounded corners make the forms softer and more approachable. The bases feature slotted brass bolts that evoke the industrial era inspiration.
The resulting forms are not only dynamic and visually interesting but practical to use and strong enough to park a truck on.
